About Lana

Hi! I’m Lana Wren, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I’ve worked for eight years as a therapist providing individual, family, and group therapy for teenagers and their families.   I am not currently providing therapy, as I’m focusing my time and energy on my work as a college professor.  I teach psychology classes for Brigham Young University Idaho (online) and for Northeast Lakeview College (in person) in San Antonio, Texas.  As for my own educational background, I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from California State University Bakersfield.
For the last five years, I have been teaching coping skills classes designed specifically to help teenagers manage their emotions and cope effectively with life.  My favorite people to work with are teenagers because they’re dynamic, genuine, and always interesting!  In my spare time, I love to do home improvement projects, go running with friends, and watch movies with my family.
